Mind numbing. He was doing so well with visits to Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, Miami(oh) and a few others.

He tears his ACL and he has surgery August 11th.

There’s a game he wants to play in down in Texas in November. He said the doctor he is working with said he might be ready to play. WTF. No way he is ready.

He has one year left in high school. I’m trying to talk him out if it. You don’t come back from ACL surgery in 3 months. He’s a offensive lineman and weighs 300+.

There’s no talking sense into him. He was crushed when he tore his ACL. Now he’s rushing back to soon.

Anyone have experience with this? No way he’s ready in 3 months when NFL players take damn near 9 months

Have him sit and get healthy. Would be stupid to come back

he is a junior in high school? If he has college potential, his coaches and local recruiting services will have his name out there.

300 lbs is heavy so he needs to stay off his foot for a while.

(I am not a doctor and have no medical license)

Bro - I tore my ACL and meniscus and it was a full two years before I could confidently run again.

There's no way on earth a guy should be playing in a game three months after an ACL tear. The ligament and muscles need to strengthen and he needs a lot of rehab and the rehab is no joke. This isn't something you rush our you face long-term damage.
